February 11, 2004 Microsoft seems to give us the feeling of loving staff. In recent days there is remarkable news spreading around in China IT industry, which is Mr. Tang CEO of China division of Microsoft Cooperation retired and was assigned as new CEO of Shanghai Shan Da Group one Chinese largest Internet game company. We did not think such pride of Microsoft Cooperation gave Mr. Tang the highest honor prize ‘Honorable China CEO of Microsoft’ when he was leaving. On one hand it means Mr. Tang win the most important reputation for his life. On the other hand it means Microsoft Cooperation win the high appraisal from the market and society, it seems Microsoft emphasize on talent and love staff. We hope Mr. Bill Gates really stress on his staff. In the fact Microsoft is the chief representative of global company of science and technology, which has developed so successfully because of its invention and creation of technology. Chinese company of science and technology should learn a lot from Microsoft. Technology creation is the life of enterprise. Of course Microsoft left not good image in the market due to its trusty technology. Microsoft has very strong capabilities of investment money and technology development, so it can support the market position of the trusty. However such kind feeling will bring troubles on management. There are many problems of stability on some Window’s products which reflect those question. In my opinion Mr. Tang went to Shan Da Group. He will face more challenges than chance. Shan Da has developed because of selling Internet games from Korea and Japan. Those games are full of violence which are harmful to Chinese children and pupils. Such kind of violence games are criticized and opposed by most of Children’s parents, social workers and governmental officials in the world. China should and will issue some policy to ban some Internet games in the future. How to design new interesting games especially the games being helpful for Children is extremely difficult.
