he has filled the hungry with good things, and sent the rich away empty. he has hepled his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy, according to the promise he made to our ancestors, to Abraham and to his descendants forever." and Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her home. 23:22 rosu 发表于 23:02 | 阅读全文 | 评论(0) | 引用Trackback(0) | 编辑 2004-12-08 23:14 又死了一篇 -[至少我认为] 南方都市报时评专栏稿件 死了又死，这种稿件都会死 真是写得沮丧之极 什么都不能说，还写个鸡巴。 网络言论是反腐败智囊团 连岳 中纪委、中组部巡视组组长任克礼12月3日在《人民日报》的文章，现在议论的人很多。任克礼在文章里说“一些干部对巡视组不讲真话的现象比较普遍，主要表现是说成绩多，讲问题少，一些人即便在谈问题时，也明显带有保留，甚或把问题当作成绩来讲。” 这话让很多人产生了挫败感，不是天天要求“讲真话”吗？怎么到了现在“不讲真话”还“比较普遍”呢？这句重话不是网上的匿名言论，从作者到发表的媒体，都没有什么人可以挑出“资格”的不够。 当然，我倒是没什么挫败感的，和我越来越相信人性趋恶没有太大关系。你想，中纪委去巡视，主要任务当然是发现有没人违反纪律，如果有，就要惩处；去翻翻中纪委的各项禁令，很多官员多多少少有违反――纪律嘛，又不是法律，违反起来就更容易一些。官员在任克礼面前，当然要隐过扬善，这是人的本能。在没有确切证据的压力前，老老实实把自己的问题承认的，我想，数量应该极少吧，即使有这样的人，恐怕也会被同侪视为笑料。任克礼以及中纪委的官员们，肯定是听到假话最多的一群人，这是他们所处的地位决定的，指望官员们普遍向他们说真话（尤其是腐败的官员），相当于缘木求鱼，不合逻辑；如果腐败的官员都愿意自证其罪，那真是天下太平；而这么诚实的官员，会去腐败吗？也不合逻辑。 事实上，一个官员有没说实话，任克礼们是判断得出来的，不然，就没有《人民日报》上的那篇文章。这就是说，除了官员自己的陈述，纪委的官员还要有相应的参照物，可以判断出此人的诚实程度，若是完全不靠谱，撒谎成癖，那就可以重点关照，查查此人的作为了，十之八九有腐败问题。 那么，参照物从那里来，言路越多自然越丰富。中纪委的官员了解一个官员，只能从他和他治下的媒体得到资讯，恐怕多半发现不了谎言。还好，媒体与言路趋向于发达，可以得到许多不同的资讯，这对中纪委的反腐败来说，起到了相当于智囊团的作用。 这使我想到了这段时间严厉批评网络的声音，除了认为要网络实名发表言论，甚至更认为要对不实言论追究责任，以做到在网络上只说真话的效果。真的浪费了大量资源做了这件事（当然，我认为是不可能做到的，除非关掉网络），其实抽空了反腐败的重要资讯来源，中纪委工作起来，就更难了，不说真话的官员就会更多。网络上的言论与指控，只是发言者根据自己的资讯做出的判断，不过提供一个调查的源头，至于是不是真的，有中纪委的判断与调查。只有百分之百的真实，才能在网上发表，那么，只有中纪委才能上网了，那些“普遍不讲真话”的官员更没有资格上网说话了。 言路越多，说假话的官员就会越来越少。不说真话的官员们其实是最知道这条真理的；所以，他们会以一切手段污名化各种言路，指望话语越少越好。 rosu 发表于 23:14 | 阅读全文 | 评论(11) | 引用Trackback(0) | 编辑 2004-12-08 23:00 luke -[日课] 23:06 Mary visits Elizabeth in those days Mary set out and went with haste to a Judean town in the hill country, where she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. when Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the child leaped in her womb. and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed with a loud cry, "blessed are you among woman, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. and why has this happened to me, that the mother of my Lord comes to me? for as soon as I heard the sound of your greeting, the child in my womb leaped for joy. and blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord. 22:15 rosu 发表于 23:00 | 阅读全文 | 评论(0) | 引用Trackback(0) | 编辑 2004-12-07 23:14 luke -[日课] 23:19 The Birth of Jesus Foretold in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. the virgin's name was Mary. and he came to her and said, "greetings,favored one!the Lord is with you." but she was much perplexed by his words and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. the angel said to her, "do not be afraid,Mary, for you have found favor with God.and now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus. he will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his ancestor David. he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end." Mary said to the angel, "how can this be,since I am a virgin?" the angel said to her, "the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be holy; he will be called Son of God. and now, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son; and this is the sixth month for her who was said to be barren. for nothing will be impossible with God." then Mary said,"here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word." then the angel departed from her. 23:36 rosu 发表于 23:14 | 阅读全文 | 评论(1) | 引用Trackback(0) | 编辑 2004-12-07 01:07 译者及译者的爷爷善用毒 -[乱] 译者及译者的爷爷善用毒 连岳 三年前，一位朋友从香港回来，对我说，有一本书，你肯定喜欢的，是艾柯的《带着鲑鱼去旅行》，可惜我只带了一本回来。我说，送给我吧？我们只是普通朋友，从来没有跨过男女大防，这个要求自然被拒绝了。我又说，借我看看吧。她听出来“借”这个字眼非常虚伪，又拒绝了。 什么人嘛，纯粹拿这书来戏弄人。后来又有一朋友去香港，回来对我说，有一套书，你肯定喜欢，是卡尔维诺全集。我说，是呀，我喜欢。她说，我给你买了一套。我们又只是普通朋友，从来没想过要跨过男女大防，她自然不会送我，我只好一手交钱一手拿书，平均一本一百港币，快要破产了。 后来，卡尔维诺风行全国。后来，我看了艾柯的《玫瑰之名》与《傅科摆》，繁复异常的小说。后为，认识了一位叫殳俏的女人，原因很简单，我们在某家报纸的专栏排在一块，至于各自的底细，都不太清楚，在MSN上加了名单，也没多说话，后来，她就翻译了《带着鲑鱼去旅行》。 以上三段的写法非常恶俗，是模仿情感小说的套路，就是一个男人与一个女人碰见了，就要在他们之前扯很多带有暗示意味的事情，表示“真是有天意呀”；当然，这个写法也流行于文学艺术圈的悼念文章，一个文艺青年或文艺老年死了，不直接说他死掉了，也要先扯很多不相关的事情，带点不安的因素，表示“真是天妒英才呀”。 以上四段的写法是模仿艾柯的文风。在胡扯当中刻毒，在顺从的表象下面全是反讽的破坏。真是对我的胃口。模仿归模仿，我想认真表达出的意思是――希望我表达出来了――如果一本书很有趣，那么，即使现在没有，即使现在没有中文，即使作者现在被人忽视，即使你三年里地狱天堂了一番，它最终还是会出现在你的生活中，摆在你的书桌上，甚至你还认识这个翻译者。比如殳俏译的《带着鲑鱼去旅行》。确切地说，这本书有三个翻译者，另一个叫马淑艳，还有一位中科院院士郑时龄对照意大利版本与英语版本，作了核实。看来翻译是件很辛苦的事情。现在很多人的英文都很好，在阅读的过程中，遇上自己喜欢的作家，当即把它译成中文，那么很多好书，就不必等上三年了。 在收到这本书的下午，未能免俗地，我先看了那篇关于色情的随笔《色情电影之真谛》，我认为，每个写字的人，都应该写一篇论述自己色情观的文章，可以据此划分阵营，分出同志与敌人。效果类似于有没有加入作家协会。还好，还好，我站在艾柯那一边。 在写这篇书评和殳俏的交流过程中，知道了她的一个重要背景，这个女人的爷爷是中国有名的毒物专家，她好像也有点家传，对杀人方法非常在行，这意味着，不写这篇书评，或者写得让她不满意，效果是非常非常非常严重的。 rosu 发表于 01:07 | 阅读全文 | 评论(6) | 引用Trackback(0) | 编辑 2004-12-06 21:04 luke -[日课] 21:09 The Birth of John the Baptist Foretold in the days of king Herod of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly order of Abijah. his wife was a descendant of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. both of them were righteous before God, living blamelessly according to all the commandments and regulations of the Lord. but they had no children, because Elizabeth was barren, and both were getting on in years. once when he was serving as priest before God and his section was on duty, he was chosen by lot, according to the custom of the priesthood, to enter the sanctuary of the Lord and offer incense. now at the time of the incense offering, the whole assembly of the people was praying outside. then there appeared to him an angel of the Lord, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. when Zechariah saw him, he was terrified; and fear overwhelmed him. but the angel said to him, "do not be afraid,Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard. your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will name him John. you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. he must never drink wine or stong drink; even before his birth he will be filled with the Holy Spirit. he will turn many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. with the spirit and power of Elijah he will go before him, to turn the hearts of parents to their children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."
