Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is sponsored annually by the International Law Students Association and the American Society of International Law. The competition requires students to brief and argue a hypothetical case on timely issues of international law as if they were appearing in front of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, The Netherlands. The School of Law’s Jessup Moot Court team consisting of seven students ,which is selected through an internal competition, to represent Peking University at the National Competition of China. The winning team from that competition then proceeds, along with another national winner of China and the national competitions in some 50 foreign countries, to the international round of competition.
