He has authored or coauthored several books and book chapters and numerous journal articles in such journals as the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organization Studies, Journal of Management Studies and Journal of Management, among others. He has served on the editorial review boards of multiple journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Executive, and Journal of Applied Psychology. Furthermore, he has served as Consulting Editor (1988-90) and Editor (1991-1993) of the Academy of Management Journal. He has served as co-editor for special issues of the Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Executive, and Journal of Engineering and Technology Management. He also has co-edited or coauthored several recent books including Managing Strategically in an Interconnected World (1998, John Wiley & Sons), New Managerial Mindsets (1998, John Wiley & Sons), Dynamic Strategic Resources (1999, John Wiley & Sons), Winning Strategies in a Deconstructing Environment (2000, John Wiley & Sons) and Creating Value Through Mergers and Acquisitions (2001, Oxford University Press). He is coauthor of eight books, including Strategic Management: Competitiveness and Globalization, and his work has been published in several journals, including Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Decision Sciences, Human Relations, Enterepreneurship: Theory & Practice, Business Horizons, British Journal of Management, Journal of Small Business Management, and American Journal of Small Business. He has also served in various editorial capacities. He has been or is serving as a member of the editorial review boards for Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Management, and Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice. Additionally, he previously completed terms as an associate editor for Academy of Management Executive and as Consulting Editor for Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice. He received the 1999 award for Outstanding Intellectual Contribution to Competitiveness Research from the American Society for Competitiveness. At Baylor he was selected as the 1998 Outstanding University Researcher and also received the 1986 Hankamer School of Business Outstanding Professor award. Robert E. Hoskisson is the Rath Chair in Strategic Management at the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine. He teaches courses in corporate and international strategic management, and cooperative strategy, among others, at graduate and undergraduate levels. His research focuses on topics in corporate governance, acquisitions and divestitures, international diversification, privatization and cooperative strategy. He has co-authored several books, including Downscoping: How to Tame the Diversified Firm and Strategic Management: Competitiveness and Globalization. His publications have appeared in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Organizational Science, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Management and California Management Review.
