A writer I am not, to express emotions onto a piece of paper well enough to show fully the feelings that awake when watching FORREST GUMP. Life is like a box of chocolates, you can never know what you’re gonna get. Being silly, Forrest’s chocolate seems bitter and tough. But it doesn’t mean that he is ignorant of love, on the contrary, everything in his eyes can reflect its beautiful side. With a pure and simple heart, Forrest cares for those who love him, forgives who hurt him, inspires who are frustrated, and struggles for his own fate to be a miracle. He doesn’t care for any other person's view, just offers unconditional love to all. To some degree, Forrest’s damaged IQ is a gift given by God for him to sniff the aroma of life. This wonderful film was a window into life and love in many ways: mother and son, friend to friend, romantic love, love of country, and finally love of self. Forrest Gump doesn't have a twist ending, the movie is as simple as Forrest himself, and leaves you to marvel at how much good can come from it. A piece of feather drifts softly through the air at the beginning and the end of the film. As the song sings, how many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?
