The cartoon book drawn and written by Taiwan Jimi was bought by me last July. I intended to send it to a foreign friend who was about to fly back to Austria. The Austrian and a Taiwan girl had been here for 4 months last year to learn Chinese and Traditional Chinese Medicine respectively. At that time, China was fighting against SARS. So they had few places to travel. We met on ICQ at first, then played together 3 times in a badminton gymnasium. They are good at this sport and play quite well. Unfortunately, I had no chance to send them this gift before they flew back. Now we still keep communication with each other occasionally,coz they are nice guys. My niece was very happy when she got the book. I think it's much better to send her something nice and interesting to read than to take her to fast food restaraunt such as McDonald or KFC, or to buy a pretty skirt to her. But finally,her mum took her to KFC. I wish that each child around the world have a happy childhood.
