We aim to collect and disseminate information about the London and North Western Railway, its constituents and its successors. We are interested in the infrastructure of the railway, the men and women who made it work, as well as the engines and rolling stock which it built and used. We aim to help modellers, preservationists, historians and those with just a passing interest in the LNWR. Most of the services we provide are for the benefit of members only, but there is much that we can do to help non-members too, so please take the time to roam around, use the links at the top of the page and to the left of this page to navigate around our site. The LNW Railway evolved over many years. The same applies to the L&NWR Society and to this Webb site. We intend this to be a ‘living’ site and hope you will visit us again to see what has changed.
