I was so glad to receive your message. I am sorry I didn't reply before, but this is a mail address I only use at work and in August I was away on holiday. I could see the web quests that the girls and you did and they are just so great! John gave me the url's. I hope I can express the deep gratitude I feel towards you. I was very touched by the interview with Ms Peng, the director of the orphanage. I would like to know more.. How long did you speak to her? Was she surprised that you came on the behalf of somebody from Spain, so far away? Did you see the rooms of the orphanage? What are they like? I would love to hear all you remember from the interview. Like you, I am a teacher of English at a secondary school in Barcelona. I am 43 years old and married to Albert, 48, he s a doctor. Clara Lin , formerly Ji Cai Lin, is our only beloved daughter. Unfortunately I don't speak Chinese. My husband has been learning for three years or so, but he has little time, so he only speaks a little. If I had time I would learn it, because I love foreign languages. I loved China when we came two years ago, and hope to return when our daughter is a little older. I thought maybe we could exchange teaching ideas if you would like to. I can send attached documents with materials and exercises that we do in the classroom. We teach students from 12 to 18. I can also send you materials, like books to learn English or CD's or DVDs for you to use in the school or for yourself. I am sending a picture so that you can see what we look like. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
