Pinatubo located, is a problem, there is no direct bus and if I took bus back Manila, I may arrived in Manila around 1:00AM and I had to take 1.5 hours bus to go back north. I made a risky decision which is get off the bus in Camanatuan, a city I don't have any idea and is not listed in my traveling bible, Lonely Planet. Helped by bus and tricycle driver. I got a room in a Motel near the bus terminal of Camantuan, It's typical motel for lover so it's very costly. I should to say that Phlippnos are very friendly and nice people including motel staff. I cut down the price from P250 to 150 which is a price for 3 hours stay(? :P). This morning, I had to get up at 4:30 to catch bus from Camanatuan to Tarlac,change bus to Dau and then change jeepney to Angeles City, where the formal USA Clark Air Force Base and Mt. Pinatubo located. I am lukey, 8:30AM, I already sit in the cafe attached to my hotel and enjoy my breakfast. There are one American was killed and one German injured on the hiking trail to Mt. Pinatubo. So the government temporary closed the trail. While I arrived the tourist registration office. I was told that I would not be issued a pass to go the the trail. But after checking with local, I decided to hire a guider and jeepney on my own risk. I am still alive and I have had 5 hours great time in hiking along river to view the lahar landscaping. I even wash my poor feet in a hot spring. The guider is great and we both were enjoying the advanture. When we went back the start point, I told villagers that I was not shooted by any terrist but the beauty and power of nature. Tomorrow morning, I will have the real volcano mountaineering which will be last 10 hours. But it's worth.
